Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a dynamic K-12 school environment. This role is geared towards professionals with a passion for supporting students' communication needs, particularly within a high school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASL certification required
  • Experience in healthcare and educational settings
  • CCC-SLP preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and typical SLP duties

Location:

  • Long Beach, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
  • Manage a caseload of students with mild to severe disabilities
