Job Description

In a dynamic educational setting, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide expert support to elementary students in Long Beach, CA. This role focuses on addressing the diverse communication needs of a varied caseload, fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential
  • Experience in healthcare and educational settings, particularly with pediatric populations
  • Proficient in teletherapy practices
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:
Long Beach, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders, creating tailored therapy plans
  • Manage a caseload of 58 students ranging from PK to 6th grade, including General Education and Mod/Severe SDC students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
