Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a significant impact in an elementary school setting. This contract position focuses on serving students from kindergarten through fifth grade, with a manageable caseload averaging no more than 55 students.

Location: Livermore, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, ensuring effective communication development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
