Job Description

A dynamic educational environment is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services to students for the upcoming semester. This full-time contract position involves working closely with a diverse K-12 student population, focusing on the communication needs of approximately 20 students.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maine Speech Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong evaluation and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

  • Lincoln, ME

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Provide direct speech-language services to assigned students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and service delivery
