Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an elementary through middle school setting located in Liberty, TX. This role is crucial in supporting students with communication disorders, enabling them to achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist License; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for a caseload of 45 to 50 elementary to middle school students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
