Make an immediate impact in the 2026-27 academic year supporting students' communication needs in central Pennsylvania! Travel Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are sought for contract roles in Mifflin or Juniata Counties. These positions offer flexible school-based assignments and opportunities to collaborate with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Holds active SLP-CCC credentials
- Meets all Pennsylvania state licensure and educational requirements
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but all SLPs with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs (caseloads assigned post-interview to match strengths)
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and staff for student success
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation
- Consult and support on best practices for student communication development
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
Position Details:
- Contract employment during the school year from September 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- 35 hours per week; schedule aligns with standard school days
- Multiple openings in supportive learning environments
- Main office is in McVeytown (note: sites may vary within Mifflin/Juniata counties)
- Caseload specifics will be tailored after the interview process
