Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Lewes, DE. This contract position is focused on the 2025-2026 school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills of students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to working collaboratively with educational staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
