Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with EC-4
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders

Location:

  • Lawrence, KS

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other health professionals to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
  • Deliver services in a timely manner across 1-2 elementary schools
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment

This is a contract position with a 37.5 hour workweek, focusing on a caseload of 50-60 students.
