Job Description

A dynamic opportunity awaits Speech Language Pathologists seeking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This position focuses on providing essential communication support to students in K-1 and life skill classrooms.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas State Speech Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education
  • Strong ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional development and best practices in therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
