Empower young learners with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging contract role supporting a variety of school-aged students in the Laurel, MD area. Your clinical skills and dedication to student success will help make a lasting impact, working with an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites. This opportunity offers the flexibility and variety that comes with supporting both in-person and teletherapy needs, and welcomes professionals at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) stage as well as CCC-SLPs seeking to further their school-based experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Maryland SLP licensure (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in pursuit (CFY candidates encouraged)
• Experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
• Strong proficiency or interest in using digital teletherapy platforms
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and the educational model
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a K-12 population under a caseload model
• Work in both in-person and remote (teletherapy) settings as needed
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain compliance records
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between assigned schools as required, with mileage and travel time compensated
• Participate in team meetings, indirect services, and administrative tasks
• Uphold district standards and participate in relevant training (comprehensive support and IEP system training provided)
• Supervision available for CFY candidates
