Job Description

A full-time or part-time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Lansing, MI. This contract position offers a valuable chance to provide specialized support to students throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations essential
  • Prior school-based SLP experience highly desirable
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' progress
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required
