Job Description

A K-12 school in Lansing, KS, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, providing critical speech and language services to children across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in the school setting
  • Experience providing speech-language services in K-12 education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
