Job Description

A full-time, contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a public school setting located in Lansing, KS. This role involves working as part of a collaborative speech team alongside two other SLP staff members to serve approximately 60 students with a range of speech and language needs. The position requires an onsite commitment and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with the contract duration extending through the end of the current school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of students across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with a team of SLP professionals to address significant student communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
  • Ability to manage a caseload with diverse and significant speech and language needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Location: Lansing, Kansas (onsite)
