Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed in the Lancaster, PA area to support K-12 students during the January through June term. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide therapeutic services in a school environment, helping students improve their communication abilities and academic performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals and student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress according to state and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable for early career applicants
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse students and staff
