Job Description

In this contract position, you'll enjoy a dynamic environment near Lancaster, CA, working 37.5 hours per week alongside a collaborative educational team dedicated to student progress and communication success.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Valid CA Speech-Language Pathology License or CA CTC required
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience with IEPs, evaluations, direct and indirect therapeutic services
  • Background in pediatric and school-based settings highly valued
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 55 students with varying speech and language needs
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare SLP practices is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver engaging and effective direct therapy sessions, adapting methods to individual learning styles
  • Provide indirect services through consultation and support for teachers and families
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for each student
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices
