Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school district in Tumwater, WA. This contract opportunity is designed for a licensed professional with strong experience in pediatrics and schools, offering a supportive environment to provide exceptional speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to K-12 students with speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Deliver services primarily onsite, with opportunities to utilize teletherapy techniques.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of student support services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings (K-12) with a focus on pediatric clients.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Location: Tumwater, WA
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, 4 days a week (8.75 hours per day)
