Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP credentials. This role is based in Lakewood, WA, supporting a K-12 school setting for the current school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students specific needs and monitor progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure or certification as a School SLP in the state of Washington.
  • Experience working in educational settings with K-12 populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
