Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Organizational ability to manage caseloads, documentation, and timelines efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Offer guidance to teachers, staff, and parents on strategies to enhance student communication in both academic and social settings
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and ongoing professional development to best support your students
