Job Description

Take on an impactful role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Lakeville, MN. This onsite contract opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, stretching from late August 2026 through early June 2027. Youll lend your expertise across two middle schools and play a pivotal supervisory role, mentoring and overseeing an SLPA who will deliver many direct services. If you are passionate about fostering communication skills and ready to provide guidance at the school level, this position is an excellent match.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued
  • Knowledge of middle school caseload management and IEP processes
  • Experience or interest in supervising SLPAs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and students
  • Must meet state licensure requirements to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the daily services provided by an SLPA
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments per school guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students on caseload
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and other support personnel
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow compliance procedures
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
