A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Palm Beach County Schools located in West Palm Beach, FL. This contract role begins ASAP and extends through May 29, 2026, offering 35 hours per week distributed as 7 hours per day. Multiple school locations and caseloads are available, serving diverse student populations including regular education, PreK, ASD, DHH, and InD throughout the county.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across various age groups and educational settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in program development and professional growth opportunities
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Ability to manage variable caseloads and adapt therapy techniques accordingly
- Completion of fingerprinting and clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete new fingerprinting as required
- Successful completion of prescreen video interview to determine suitability
