A contract opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CF) in the Lake Worth, FL area, serving multiple school locations across Palm Beach County. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week with direct on-site engagement, providing the chance to work with diverse student populations ranging from preschool to high school. Supervision is available for Clinical Fellows (CFY), and this role does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs, including regular education, PreK, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), and other specialized programs.
- Manage caseloads that vary by school and student age group, with assignments at multiple campuses throughout the county.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Comply with district policies and credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge application.
- Participate in internal prescreen video interviews as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license issued by the Department of Health.
- Clinical Fellows welcome; supervision is provided.
- Ability to work on-site at various school locations throughout Palm Beach County.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and fostering positive outcomes.
