Job Description

This opportunity is designed for a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a K-12 school setting. The role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively support a diverse student population. This is a full-time, onsite contract position spanning the normal school year, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
  • Experience working with K-12 caseloads in a school environment

Location:

  • Onsite position located in Lake Villa, Illinois

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
