An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to the growth and development of young learners in an Early Childhood setting. Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Indiana SLP license
  • DOE certification
  • Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology

Location:

  • La Porte, IN, Early Childhood School

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
  • Supervise and support the work of an SLPA, ensuring effective delivery of services
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
