Job Description

Ideal candidates will possess experience and qualifications such as:

  • Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates eager to begin their school-based career
  • Strong background in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare environments
  • Teletherapy experience or a willingness to adapt to remote service delivery
  • Ability to create and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and manage caseloads effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Core responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech-language intervention to students in preschool through high school
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
  • Developing customized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Delivering both in-person and virtual therapy sessions as needed
  • Maintaining detailed records and supporting compliance with educational guidelines
