Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is located in Kingston, PA, and is ideal for individuals with a focus on enhancing the communicative abilities of students through targeted speech-language interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

Location:

  • Kingston, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
