Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Kernersville, NC. This contract position spans the full school year and offers flexibility for full-time or part-time hours. The role focuses on providing speech therapy services primarily at the elementary level, supporting students communication development within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly in elementary grades
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work onsite with flexibility in scheduling, offering full or part-time availability
