Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students and educators as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a dynamic school setting. As an SLP, youll play a vital role collaborating with faculty, families, and fellow professionals to promote effective communication, foster academic growth, and unlock each childs full potential.
This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering full-time hours at 37.5 per week. There are three positions available, providing a supportive environment for both new and experienced professionals. While the primary assignment is onsite, hybrid arrangements can be discussed for added flexibility.
What Youll Bring:
- Active California SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Ability to assess and treat a diverse pediatric case load, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Dedication to ethical, evidence-based, student-centered practice
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Evaluate students, complete assessments, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress with clear and timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students needs
- Implement engaging, innovative strategies to maximize communication outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school events
