Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide vital speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting. This role is located in Kent, WA, for the duration of the school year and is offered on a contract basis.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, including those with special needs.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

  • Kent, WA (K-12 School Setting)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
