Job Description

An opportunity exists for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This position is based in Kent, WA, within a K-12 school setting, and focuses primarily on addressing the needs of middle school and some high school students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:
Kent, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for approximately 50 students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
