Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist certification in Georgia (SLP-GA)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
- Experience or strong interest in school-based practice
- Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12th grade
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Offer support and guidance to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
