Step into an impactful role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position provides the opportunity to make a difference for students with a wide variety of disabilities, from mild to severe. Youll work Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, collaborating with a dedicated school team in an environment that values every childs voice and progress.
Ideal candidates have a strong background in school-based speech-language pathology, proven expertise with diverse caseloads, and a drive to foster communication skills that empower students both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC required)
- Active Washington State SLP License (Department of Health)
- Valid OSPI ESA licensure with SLP endorsement (fully licensed status mandatory)
- Experience supporting students with various disabilities across K-12 settings
- Passion for collaboration with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation, IEP planning, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students with disabilities, adjusting interventions as needed for mild to severe cases
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs and treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Conduct evaluations, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Provide support and resources in a positive, inclusive manner
