Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the school year at an elementary school near Guy, TX. This contract position is ideal for licensed SLPs holding a valid Texas SLP license with school credentials, including those with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students within the school setting.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive student support.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Texas SLP license and valid school credentials are required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) encouraged to apply.
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
