Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a summer school setting. This position is focused on providing essential communication support to K-12 students, ensuring their diverse needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Location:

  • Kansas City, MO area

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educational staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding students communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes
