Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in Kansas City, KS, for a contract during the upcoming school year. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in an educational setting, helping students improve their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid SLP licensure and eligibility to work in a school setting.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team.

Duration:

  • Contract assignment for the full school year.
