Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving an elementary and junior high caseload across three schools. This position is ideal for candidates with strong experience in school settings and a passion for working with diverse student populations.

Location: Joliet, IL (and surrounding areas including Morris and Minooka) Duration: Contract through May 2026 Schedule: 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a caseload primarily consisting of students on the autism spectrum.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff across three schools to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and district requirements.
  • Support students' communication development to enhance success in academic and social settings.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Demonstrated experience working as an SLP within K-12 school environments.
  • Strong understanding of language and communication disorders common among students on the autism spectrum.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams.
