Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist role is available near Oswego, IL, specializing in an early childhood caseload. This contract position aligns with the school year calendar and focuses on supporting young learners in an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP License required
- Experience with pediatric and early childhood populations
- Familiarity with healthcare and school-based speech-language pathology practices
- Ability to conduct teletherapy sessions effectively
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language assessments and interventions to early childhood students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participating in professional development and team meetings as required
- Utilizing teletherapy tools when necessary to provide remote services
