Job Description

A full-time bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech and language services to K-12 students in an onsite school setting. This role focuses on serving a diverse student population with the goal of improving communication skills and supporting academic success. The position is a contract for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
  • Bilingual abilities strongly preferred to support diverse linguistic needs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is located onsite in Joliet, Illinois
  • Full-time hours with a caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Contract position for the current school year
