Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across various grade levels in an Illinois K-12 school setting. This full-time position involves working with a diverse caseload, focusing on the unique needs of students in both general education and specialized programs.

Qualifications:

  • Active State of Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Valid Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in autism and transition programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide intervention for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Conduct onsite or virtual consultations as needed
  • Support students in developing effective communication skills
