Job Description

A dynamic opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position is based in Joliet, IL, within a high school environment, focusing on supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students specific needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Deliver services three days a week, managing a caseload of approximately 25 students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for IL schools through ISBE.
  • Experience with pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
