Located in Joliet, IL, this position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to work within a dynamic K-12 educational environment. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services.
• Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs, ensuring effective communication strategies are taught.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by state regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements.
