This position is set within a K-12 school environment in Joliet, IL, focusing on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students from elementary to middle school levels for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services
• Provide direct therapy and support to students in accordance with IEP goals

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
