Job Description

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Jim Thorpe, PA. This contract position is for the current school year, from January 5, 2026, to April 3, 2026, with full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and school policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience providing SLP services in school settings (K-12) is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
