Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide critical speech-language pathology services in an educational setting. This contract position is based in Indio, CA, within a K-12 school environment, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students and staff

Location:

Indio, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student support
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
