Position Overview
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
School Year: August 3, 2026 June 1, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours per Week
Student Population: K-12
Caseload: Approximately 5070 Students
Travel Between Schools: TBD
Employment Type: School-Based
Key Responsibilities
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
Complete assessment reports, documentation, and eligibility recommendations
Develop and monitor individualized speech and language goals
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
Work closely with another SLP supporting nonverbal life-skills students
Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal special education regulations
Support student communication skills that foster academic and social success
Qualifications
Required
Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist License
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Strong assessment and evaluation skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred
Previous school-based SLP experience
Experience working with K-12 students
Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
