Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Huron, CA. This onsite, full-time contract position offers high compensation and the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students across all K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and treatment plans
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student communication challenges

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Location: Huron, California

Details:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, full-time
  • Duration: Immediate start until end of current school year
