Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting in Huntingdon, PA. This contract position supports students in Mifflin County, Juniata County, or Fulton County, PA, with flexible part-time or full-time hours offered. Please note, this role requires in-person attendance only.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education PK-12 educator credential is required
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student caseloads
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
  • Ability to develop and implement student-centered speech and language intervention plans

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 19, 2026
  • Location: Mifflin County, Juniata County, or Fulton County, PA
  • Caseload assigned based on candidates location and skillset
  • In-person service delivery is mandatory for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
