Job Description

Dynamic opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to the development of young learners in a K-12 setting. This position focuses on serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade, providing essential communication support throughout the 20252026 school year.

Location:
Hoquiam, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy to a manageable caseload of 5055 students, tailored to diverse communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with Pre-K to 5th-grade students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
