Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving elementary school students with diverse speech and language needs in a supportive onsite environment. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8am-4pm) during the 26/27 school year, allowing you to make a significant impact on young learners across grades K-4.

Preferred candidates will bring expertise as a certified Speech Language Pathologist, with a focus on providing assessment, intervention, and therapy to students with a range of disabilities. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, working within multiple school settings and adapting to varied caseloads as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and CCC credentials
  • Previous experience working with elementary students is highly valued
  • Ability to work onsite during standard school hours
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education procedures
  • Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) SLP opening eligibility

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-4
  • Deliver direct therapy services and participate in IEP meetings
  • Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and report outcomes
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students in both individual and group settings across various classroom environments
