Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children. This position is based in a supportive K-12 school environment in Homestead, FL, where you will work with students aged 2 to 18, focusing on a range of communication disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with assessments and evaluations
  • Strong background in facilitating IEP meetings
  • Ability to develop individualized therapy plans
  • Knowledge of high-functioning autism and related therapies

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually
  • Assess, evaluate, and diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement IEPs
  • Focus on areas such as pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, articulation, and writing delays
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
