Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support a K-12 school environment in Hollywood, Florida. This onsite contract role is ideal for professionals licensed in Florida who are passionate about delivering speech-language services to school-aged children across various grade levels. The assignment runs for the new school year with a 30-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring to students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services and student outcomes
  • Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the diverse needs of students within the school setting

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with children and work collaboratively with education teams
